Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. Her family was raised as part of a multiethnic household. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and father Elroy were both born in Malaysia. Her brothers are elder as well as two younger brothers. The 80s were the time when her parents emigrated to Bahrain due to civil unrest in Sri Lanka. This is why she was born and raised there. She received a scholarship to study at an undergraduate program at the University of Sydney in Sydney Australia, after completing her education in Bahrain. She later resigned her professional career in order to be a fashion model. Padukone is of Mangalorean background and her native language is Konkani. Her ancestors hail from the village Padukone in Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka state in India. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend before retiring in the 80s. She has a mother who runs who worked for a travel agency also comes from this area.
